Silks & Rope

Schedule a Fabric or Rope Class

SILKS/ FABRIC
Level Up Silks

This class will focus on building confidence, endurance, and strength with an emphasis on proper technique. We will review and polish tricks and build new sequences. It’s perfect for students with previous experience on silks and rope.

If you’ve dabbled with silks or rope and feel comfortable with basics like tying foot knots and inverting from the ground, then this is the perfect class for you!

***This class is NOT for total beginners***

Silk Sequences

This class will focus on sequences and polishing them up with performance readiness in mind for form, technique, flow, and presentation. Students would, as a group, come up with a beginning and end for the sequence as we then put it to music. The sequence would change every other week. This class is a fun, creative drop in class for int/adv aerial silks folks.

Intermediate Silks/Fabric

This class will focus on vertical theory with emphasis in refining technique, split fabric sequencing, and conditioning for higher level skills. Students should already have the prior experience on rope or fabric and feel comfortable executing longer sequences in the air.

Sling Sequences

Learn new wraps, moves, tricks, and all things sling! In this class, there will be time to practice and refine foundational movements to build strength and endurance to create sequences. Sling Sequences is great for those with aerial experience.

Dynamic Sling/Silks

Each week the class structure is similar – we work all the beats – hollow, pike, flares, dynamic rolls and drops and building technique for those skills. We will also work spinning technique in this practice class.

Mixed Level Sling

Learn new wraps, moves, tricks, and all things sling! In this class, there will be time to practice and refine foundational movements to build strength and endurance. Mixed Level Sling is great for those with aerial experience.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga incorporates the asanas (postures) of yoga while using the aerial sling. This class is suited for the regularly practicing aerialist or acrobat as a rejuvenating, gentle conditioning practice. It is also suited for a beginner aerialist looking for a light approach to aerial or for anyone interested in a yoga practice. This is not a tricks-based class. An introduction to inversions in the sling or on another aerial apparatus is helpful, but not required.

ROPE
Mixed Level Rope

A class for all levels that focuses on building strength in basic techniques as well as building and learning sequences.

Intermediate Rope

This class will focus on vertical theory with emphasis on refining technique and practicing dynamic transitions/beats all while building stamina through practicing sequences. Students should already have the prior experience on rope or fabric and feel comfortable executing longer sequences in the air.
