How do I register for a class?

Stomping Ground Studio uses a service called SquareSpace Acuity for class scheduling, client profiles, and payment processing. We recommend you create an account with the scheduling app to make registering for future classes easier. If you have an account, your contact information and signed waiver will be saved so you won’t need to answer the questions/fill out the waiver every time you register for a class.

What’s your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule your class reservation, a 12-hour cancellation notice is required. If cancellation occurs within 12-hours of class time, you forfeit your class credit. For summer camps, the timeframe is 7 days.

We require a minimum of three students to run a class. If the class does not meet this requirement, it will be canceled. Notifications will be sent out four hours before class time and sent via email or text message. If your class gets canceled, a class credit will be returned to your profile.

How do I cancel or reschedule a reservation?

To reschedule appointments:
1. Click Change/Cancel Appointment in the initial confirmation email you received after booking.
2. Click Reschedule.
3. Choose a new date and time.
4. Click Reschedule.
5. You’ll then be directed to a confirmation page and receive an email with the details of your updated appointment.

Do you offer drop in classes?

Yes, all classes are ‘drop-in’, however pre-registration is required. See ‘how do I register for a class’ in FAQ.

I’m a new student; what do I need to know?

For our in-person classes, you will need to pre-register and sign the waiver before coming to class. Wear yoga clothes that cover behind your knees. We also recommend packing a long sleeve shirt in the event of needing more skin coverage for particular tricks.

For our virtual classes, we use zoom to connect. Zoom info will be included in your confirmation email. If you didn’t receive your zoom link, please email us.

Do you have class packages?

Yes. In order to use these packages, you must first purchase the pass  before registering for a class. After buying this package you will receive a code which can then be used to register for your classes. Class packages expire in 60 days.

$95/ 4 class pass

$115/ 5 class pass

Otherwise, it’s $25/ class.

Open Gyms and Acro Jams are $10/ session.

How do I pay?

After registering for a class on the SquareSpace Acuity site or app, you will be prompted to pay with a credit or debit card or via PayPal in our online store.

Do you issue refunds?

No, sorry.

I’m late for class; can I still participate?

Yes, you can still participate. The beginning of class is super important. This is the time when we warm up and stretch our bodies to avoid injuries. We also understand that life gets hectic or you may have technical difficulties, so let us know if you think you’ll be late.

Can I hire you to entertain for my party?

Of course! Stomping Ground Studio owners can be hired to entertain your next event. We offer a variety of ground and aerial acts. SGS has a portable aerial rig and can be set up just about anywhere for an awesome aerial show!

What’s the best way to contact the studio?

Email us by filling out this form.

What will I need for virtual handstands class?

You’ll probably want a bit of wall space (or doorway), a chair (like a dining table chair), and two yoga blocks or two large books (these are optional).

What other tips can you offer to help me be successful during my training?

It is imperative to remain focused and listen to instruction carefully. Maintaining mindfulness, recording accurate notes (bring a notebook!), listening to your body, and stretching and strengthening will aid you tremendously in your training and safety.

We really want you to be successful and are here to help! Feel free to ask questions during class or send us an email afterward.

Have fun and stay positive. We are capable of a lot more than we realize!

What are the studio rules?

Studio equipment may be used under the supervision of a Stomping Ground Studio coach. Rigging can only be done by a coach, so please ask a coach to make any height adjustments or to hang your apparatus.

You must be sober during class times. If we suspect that you are under the influence, you will be asked to leave.

Crash mats must always be used while on the apparatus.

Please clean crash mats, yoga mats, and any props you use after class.

Clean and put away any props you used. Please don’t leave resistance bands hanging off the scissor lift!

Personal items should be stowed in the cubbies by the door. DO NOT pile personal items in or around the scissor lift.

If you’d like to use your personal equipment for training, you must get approval prior to your open gym or class time. Please email the studio to let us know who manufactured your apparatus.

Open wounds need to be covered. We have bandaids, please ask if you need one.

Please wash your hands when you arrive.

Try to avoid wearing strong scents as others may have allergies.

If you arrive early, just hang out by the cubbies, and a coach will greet you when it’s time for your class.

To participate, everyone must sign the waiver. Please make sure that you have signed the waiver.

Remove beaded and dangly jewelry so that it does not get caught up in the equipment.
